Pest or Not? :
Termites are major pest, especially
to us. They affect the lives of people by eating off the wood on your house. They live inside the walls of your house and
feed and reproduce.
How do Termites Reproduce?
:
Basicly the king and queen
termites produce together. And the queen becomes pregnant. Wnich then she lays the eggs. And then later the eggs hatch and
become larva. As the termite gets bigger it is then called a nymph, then a worker, a soldier, and a reproductive. Then later
the adult termites molt into alates which are winged termites. Then a male and female termite fly together searching for a
place to reproduce. Once they find a place they break off there wings and begin to reproduce. Which the cycle starts
all over again.

The Cycle
of Reproduction
|
Reproduction Cycle:
It starts off with the king
and queen termite. The king and queen mate and the queen gets pregnant. The queen lays her eggs and waits for the eggs to
hatch into larva. Which then the larva gits bigger and becomes a nymph. Then into a Worker, a Soldier, then into a Reproductive.
Some of the adults molt into an Alate. Which is a termite with wings. Then the adult loses there wings and becomes a De-alate.
And in turn finds there mate and becomes the king and queen and the cycle starts all over again.
